Your details, handled with care
A plain-language summary of what we collect when you register, why we need it and how we look after it.

Who we are
The Global QS Student Summit 2026 is organised by the International Quantity Surveying Students Forum (IQSSF), a student-led forum, together with its partner student associations.
What we collect
When you register we ask for your full name, email address, WhatsApp number, country, institution, academic level, whether you study Quantity Surveying, how you heard about the summit, what you are looking forward to, and whether you would like to join the global QS student community.
Why we use it
- To confirm your registration and send you the Zoom link, reminders and summit updates by email and WhatsApp.
- To understand who is attending (for example, how many students join from each country) so we can plan the programme.
- If you answered “Yes” to joining the global QS student community, to invite you to future IQSSF activities.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with advertisers.
Your “I Will Be Attending” photo
The photo you add to your attending card never leaves your device. The card is created in your browser and saved straight to your phone or computer. We only record that a card was made, so we don’t remind you to make one again.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Registration details are stored in a private, access-controlled database on Vercel, the service that hosts this website. Only the summit organisers can view them, through a password-protected organiser dashboard. Emails are sent from the summit’s Gmail account.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as they are needed for the summit and, if you chose to join the community, for IQSSF student community activities. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or stop receiving messages, by contacting the organisers at iqssforum@gmail.com. Every email we send also lets you reply directly.
